Otheda Padgett, of North Little Rock, born November 6, 1932, left this life to be with God on February 26, 2019.

Cherishing her memory is her son David Kerwin Padgett and wife Kim of The Woodlands, Texas, two special granddaughters Elise Padgett of Fort Worth, Texas, and Haley Campanella and her husband David of Plano, Texas, a son-in-law Kelly Sheets of Pocahontas, sister-in-law Charlene Battles of North Little Rock, and numerous and dear nieces and nephews. Otheda was preceded in death by her father and mother, Ed and Nora Battles, husband Earl Padgett, daughter Karla Ann Sheets, sister Gennav Spears and brothers Bud and James Battles.

Otheda was a faithful member of the Levy Church of Christ for over 50 years. She always put her family first, was a great wife and mom (the best!) and adored those granddaughters. After the recent passing of her daughter Karla, it was only a matter of time before she would lay her burdens down and take her rightful place alongside her. Both will be greatly missed by all.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Parkstone Place in North Little Rock, Brookdale Senior Living in Conway, Hospice of Central Arkansas and Greenbrier Nursing and Rehab for their tender care and kindness during her stay.

Visitation will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral home with funeral service following at 4:30 p.m. A private graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2019 at Copperas Springs Cemetery in Guy, Arkansas
