Annie Mormon, 88, of Tomball, Texas, died Saturday, October 11, 2008, in an assisted living center in Tomball. She was born on June 4, 1920, in Milo to Ollie Lee Pogue and Charles Henry Jordan.
She is survived by three brothers, Perry Jordan and wife Leone, Parnell Jordan, and Royce Jordan and wife Sue, all of Crossett; one sister, Pauline McClain and husband Adrian of El Dorado; one daughter, Glenda Emmick of Tomball, Texas; two granddaughters, Kenda Bing and husband Timothy Daniel of The Woodlands, Texas, and Lynn Bing and husband Seth Cousins of The Woodlands; one great-grandson, Jonah Julius Baumgarten and father, Jeff Baumgarten, of The Woodlands, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy F. Mormon, four brothers, and three sisters.
As of Monday, funeral arrangements were pending. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Texas Heart Institute at St. Luke's Hospital in Houston or the charity of choice.
