Walter Perry Hutson age 66 of Norfork died Thursday, September 21 at his home. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Galatia Assembly of God Church with Rev. Corbey Stone officiating, Interment was at Spring Creek Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
Mr. Hutson a native of Arkansas and a long time resident of Calico Rock was born August 8, 1895. He was a retired Assembly of God minister and had resided in this area for the past 14 years.
Survivors include his wife, Laura of the home: three sons, T. C. of Mountain Home, Dave of Wasco, Calif., and Hansel of La Puente, Calif., and two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Whiteaker of Sunneyside, Wash., and Mrs. Sybil Wood of Mountain Home. A daughter, Mrs. Berniece Tatum of Wasco, Calif., preceded him in death. Other survivors include 18 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Fanny Lindsey of Shawnee, Oklahoma.
