Mrs. Lorraine (Jackie) Geels, 95, of Paris died Monday, Sept. 7, 2009, in Fort Smith. She was born March 21, 1914, in Paris to Walter and Hannah (Real) Carter. Lorraine was a beloved mother and mother-in-law. She greatly enjoyed music, playing piano until she was in her 90s, and especially liked playing while others sang. She was an avid board game player, as well as an enthusiastic flower gardener. She had a long career as secretary at the Logan County Agricultural Extension Services. She was much loved and will be greatly missed.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Martin; and their daughter, Kathleen.
