Howard M. Ritch, 87, of Paris died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006, in Paris. He was born Dec. 22, 1919 in Coldwater, Kan , to the late George and Nelva Ritch. He was a retired Master Sgt. after serving 22 years in the Army. He served in Germany and Japan. He was a farmer and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Helen (Hertlein) Ritch of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Tom Lefler of Hot Springs Village; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Mike and Karen Ritch of Paris and David Ritch of Paris; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and her late husband, Chet Lombardi, Margie and Jack Ballew of Tahlequah and Norma and Richard Payne; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Herald and Carolyn Ritch of Hawthorne, Calif., and Eugene and Carmen Ritch of Tahlequah; five grandchildren, Kelly Lefler, Amy Lefler, Bill Lefler, Stacey Ritch and James Ritch. Pallbearers will be Tom Lefler, James Ritch, Bill Lefler, Steve Hertlein, Tim Kiene, Nick Hertlein, Kevin Ballew and Keith Hertlein. Southwest Times Record Ft Smith, Arkansas
