Charles' parents were John Wright and Eunise Allena Wright Bratcher; Mary Katherine's parents were Luther and Ara Collins Camper.


Mary Katherine Bratcher, 82, of Hoxie, died April 9, 2008, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

A homemaker, she was retired from Lawrence Memorial Hospital and was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bratcher Sr.; her parents, Luther and Ara Collins Camper; and two grandsons, Steven Hartmann and Christopher Hood.

Survivors include four daughters, Katherine Hood, Jonesboro, Debbie Brown and husband Gary, Florence, Ala., Deanna Hartmann and husband Steve, Lufkin, Texas, and Mary Couch, Bradenton, Fla.; three sons, Bobby Wright and Charles Bratcher Jr., both of Hoxie, and John Bratcher and wife Linda, Winder, Ga.; a sister, Juanita Marr, Tennessee, 10 grandchildren, Wade Hood, Kelly Hood, April Brown, Autumn Brown, Angel Heim, John Bratcher Jr., Robert Bratcher, Courtney Couch, Kati Couch and David Hartmann; and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral was Friday at 1 p.m. at House-Gregg Funeral Home with Rob Combs officiating. Burial was in Lawrence Memorial Park.

Pallbearers were Jeff Heim, John Bratcher, Robert Bratcher, Dean Wall, Ernest Briner and Dallas Cagle.
