Obituary
Lonnie Louis Buie, Jr., 56, of Conway, passed away Monday, December 22, 2008.
He was born January 18, 1952, in Magnolia, AR, to the late Lonnie Louis Buie, Sr. and Elizabeth (Henry) Buie.
Mr. Buie earned his Master of Science in Engineering degree at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He designed over 3,000 successful electrical projects in 14 states, investigated over 3,750 electrical fires and accidents in 29 states, and investigated over 200 electrical contact accidents in 18 states.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki (Gilless) Buie; a son, Trent Buie and wife Brandy of Cabot; a daughter, Alyssa Buie of Little Rock; stepson, Justin Galbraith of Little Rock; stepdaughter, April Young and husband Bobby of Sherwood; a granddaughter, Hannah Galbraith; a sister, Vickie Barwick and husband Neil of Hope, AR; mother-in-law, Goldie Gilless of Searcy; a niece, Kristi Bell and husband Randy of North Little Rock; and a nephew, Robbie Barwick and wife Delisa of Texarkana.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 27, at 3:00 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 1653, Topeka, KS, 66601-1653.
