Margaret was born in 1811 to Andrew Jackson and Francina (Hardwick) Caldwell. She married Andrew B. Pauley in 1829 and they had six children: Andrew C., Mary Ann, James Conway, William Valentine, Martha R., and Margaret E. Margaret was born in Tennessee and died in Arkansas
