Miss Belle Blanchard Dies Early Today;
Funeral To Be Friday
Miss Belle C. Blanchard died at 1:30 this morning at her home at 503 N. College avenue. Miss Blanchard had been in a coma since last week when she learned of the death of her sister, Mrs. Stuart Goodrich of Houston, Tex.
Funeral services will be conducted at the home Friday morning at 10:30 by Rev. Samuel H. Rainey, with Watson's in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Miss Blanchard was born in Freemont, Nebr., the daughter of Captain George F. and Marie Louise Holbrook Blanchard. Her father was a native of New Hampshire and her mother of Massachusetts.
One brother, C.P. Blanchard of Dallas, Tex., and two sisters, Mrs Maud B. Munn of Texarkana and Mrs. Julia McGillycuddy of Washington, D.C., survive.
Pallbearers will be Lawrence Stubblefield, Leland Bryan, Fred Raedels, Frank Lewis, Van Howell and Wallace Stone.
