Sept 7, 1823 - Feb 8, 1879
Cora Zipporah (Blagg) Aikman was born September 7, 1823 in Tennessee and died February 8, 1879 in Bluffton, Yell Co., Arkansas. She was the daughter of Michael and Nancy Blagg and she had siblings Elizabeth, Martha Jane, Benjamin Franklin and Michael B. Blagg. She married Dubois Gilbert Aikman before 1848 in Arkansas. They had children Michael Edward, Benjamin Franklin, William Devoid, Nancy Jane and George Hadrick Aikman. It's interesting to note that someone put a cover of very large rocks over the grave and it is the only one done this way in the cemetery. Some of the rocks have been shaped and one rock near the bottom has chiseled "WSD 1888". The family assumes this was the year and the initial of the person building the structure.
