Funeral services will be held at 2PM today at the First Baptist Church in Cotter for Mrs. Liza Ann Haney, 91, of Cotter, who died Monday morning. Rev. Monroe Palmer will officiate.
Mrs. Haney, who spent practically all her life n Baxter County, was born at Blue, Alabama, on May 20, 1863. Her parents were the late William Henry Barnett and Mrs. Matihilda Gran Barnett, bot natives of Alabama.
She was a member of the Baptist Church. Her husband preceded her in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs Cora gibbs of Cotter, Mrs Edna Harvester of Little Rock and Mrs. Dora Lawler of St. Maries, Idaho; four sons Eurie Haney of Los Angeles, CA, Bryan Haney and Segal Haney, both of Cartney and Bob Haney of Norfork; a sister, Mrs. Georgia Woods of Oklahoma City, OK; 29 grandchildren, 81 great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Isaac W. Thomas, Ed Pinkston, Neil Nelson, Brewer Robertson, Roy Finley and Marshall Knight. Lee Paul will be an honorary pallbearer.
Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery. Roller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
