REEDS SPRING, Mo. — Gerald Kenneth Ruhl, 90, of Reeds Spring died Aug. 13, 2000, in Reeds Spring. He was born July 22, 1910, in Republic, Mo., to William Claude and Mabel Ann Williams Ruhl. He was a former longtime resident of Decatur and moved to Missouri in 1998. He was owner and operator of Ruhl Plumbing and Electric in Decatur and was an Army veteran of World War II and a deacon at First Baptist Church In Decatur.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Nell Rodgers Ruhl of the home, to whom he was married June 6, 1932; one daughter, Judy Fowler of Lampe, Mo.; one sister, Virginia Brown of Decatur, one granddaughter.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Decatur with the Rev. Terry Eaton officiating. Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
