Marvin Leon Fisher, 49, Garland, Tex., former resident of the area, died Oct. 25 at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, Tex. Born March 19, 1927, in Iron Gate, Va., he was a member of the Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife; Mrs. Barbara Jean Bryson Fisher of the home; two sons, Michael Fisher, stationed with the U.S. Army in Germany, and Eddie Fisher, Plano, Tex.; one daughter, Mrs. Cathy Parades, Garland, Tex.; and three grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Decatur Cemetery with the Rev. Ernest Whitten officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
