ROGERS — James Wendall Pilkington, 71, of Rogers died June 25, 2000, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.
He was born Nov. 15, 1928, in Detroit, Mich., to Butler and Margaret Wilson Pilkington.
He was a Marine veteran and had been employed by the Postal Service.
He was a member of Calvary Missionary Church in Livonia, Mich., for more than 60 years. He moved to the area in 1998. He enjoyed gospel music and reading the Bible.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Pilkington, to whom he was married Aug. 2, 1952; five children, Kathy Stowe of Bentonville, Tom Pilkington and Sharon Glick of Rogers, Dennis Pilkington of Woodbridge, Va., and Patty Killinger of Stockbridge, Mich.; five brothers, Chaney Price of Detroit, Clarence Price of Michigan, Howard Price of Florida, Walter Pilkington of Detroit and George Price of Lambertville, Mich.; two sisters, Vivian Cory of Mendon, Mich., and Susie Dyke of Taylor, Mich.; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Missionary Church in Livonia.
Visitation will be until 9 p.m. Wednesday and until service time Thursday at the church.
Burial will be in Oakland Hills Cemetery in Novi, Mich.

Local arrangements are by Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Bentonville.

ROGERS — Rose Ann Pilkington, 77, of Rogers died Feb. 25, 2008, at Bentonville. She was born Aug. 26, 1930, in Lorain, Ohio, to George B. and Rhoda Kelly Epps.
She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Rogers. She moved to Rogers from Wixom, Mich. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Wendall Pilkington.
Survivors include her children, Sharon Glick and husband Larry of Rogers, Dennis Pilkington and wife Helen of Rogers, Patty Killinger and husband Alden of Fowlerville, Mich., Tom Pilkington and wife Celeste of Rogers and Kathy Stowe and husband Randall of Bentonville; two sisters, Joyce Sever of Walled Lake, Mich., and Jane Fitrakis of Redford Township, Mich.; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Benton County Funeral Home in Rogers. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Bentonville Church of the Nazarene with Alan Johnson, the Rev. Harold Sever and the Rev. Gerald Sever and Wade Killinger officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Rogers First Church of the Nazarene Building Fund or World Missions, c/o the funeral home.
