Daughter of William & Sarah Silvertooth Simons.
Married Dr. William Henry Harrison Lackey, 1871, Izard County, Arkansas.

Adaline 'Addie' Lackey, 69, died Sunday, August 26, 1923, at Hopewell.
The daughter of the late William Simons and Sarah Silvertooth Simons was born August 12, 1854. She was united in marriage to Dr. William H.H. Lackey in 1871.
Mrs. Lackey is survived by six sons, Stonewall 'Wall' Lackey, Tom Lackey, Alex Lackey, Charlie Lackey, Theodore 'Sid' Lackey and Chester Commodore 'Jack' Lackey; one daughter, Laura Bell Clark; and three sisters, Ruth Elizabeth 'Lou' Harris, Josie Wood and William Tennessee 'Tennie' Medley.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; three children Leander 'Lee' Lackey and two infants; one step son, William Lackey; and one sister, Mary 'Mollie' Lackey.
Funeral services were conducted at the Galatia Chruch near Norfork. She was buried beside her husband at the Galatia Cemetery.
