Ethel Alma Dickerson of Norfork died Wednesday (May 12, 1999) at Baxter County Regional Hospital. She was 85.
Mrs. Dickerson was born Sep 16, 1919, at Norfork to James and Florence Rosenbaum. She married Robert O. Dickerson on July 20, 1930, at Norfork and worked as a cook at Norfork Public Schools and at Baxter County Regional Hospital for many years. She enjoyed raising flowers and making quilts and was a member of the Norfork First Baptist Church.
She is survived by four sons, Dwain Dickerson and wife Barbara of Norfork, Bryan Dickerson and wife Naomi of Norfork, Tommy Dickerson and wife Linda of Wenecha, WA and Ray Dickerson and wife Tammy of Norfork; six daughters, Inez Riley and husband James of Paragould, Beatrice Hudgens of Pineville, Lela Jones and husbnd Dean of North Little Rock, Ina Lou Gilliland and husband Don of Boswell, Mary Speak and husband Donnie of Calico Rock and Tena Thorn and husband Fred of Vilonia; three broters Onis Rosenbaum of Fair Grove, MO, Odis Rosenbaum of Nashville and Ray Rosenbaum of Newport News, VA; two sisters, Norma Horn of Calico Rock and Ima Nell Summerville of Hot Springs; 40 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, two daughters , two brothers, one sister, one grandson and on great grandson.
Services will be 2PM Saturday at Norfork First Baptist Church with Rev. David Wiley officiating. Visitation will be 5-7PM Friday at Roller Funeral Home in Mt. Home. Burial will be in the Galatia Cemetery.
