Egypt- Eunice Mae Todd, 78, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at her residence. She was born June 29, 1931in Walnut Ridge to the late Harold and Myrtle Dulaney. Mrs. Todd lived most of her life in the Egypt area and was a retired cook working for Westside and Egypt Schools and also the Burris School for Children in Jonesboro. She was a member of the Egypt Baptist Church and loved flowers, quilting and enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Todd and a brother, Boyce Dulaney. Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Martin and husband Dewain of Jonesboro and Donna Morris of Euless, Texas; a son and his wife, Jerry and Linda Kay Todd of Bono; a step-daughter, Wanda Lee Shaffer of Monohan, Texas; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Martin and husband Dewain of Jonesboro and Donna Morris of Euless, Texas; a son and his wife, Jerry and Linda Kay Todd of Bono; a stepdaughter, Wanda Lee Shaffer of Monohan, Texas; five grand-children and eight great-grandchildren.

Honored to serve as active pallbearers are Jerry Allen Todd, Steven Todd, Jessie Owens, James Becker, Randy Layne and Frank Russell, and as honorary pallbearers, Junior Martin, Ronnie Owens, Aaron Upton, Luke Morris and Josh Upton.

A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 25, 2009 at the Egypt Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Snow officiating. Burial will follow at the Markham Cemetery in Egypt under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Jonesboro. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at the Gregg Funeral Home in Jonesboro.

The family requests lasting memorials to the Egypt Baptist Church.
