Everett Millard Johnson, 70, of Norfork died here on Saturday at the Mt. Home Medical Group Clinic.
A native of Douglas County, MO, he was born June 9, 1903, the son of John Andrew Johnson and the former America E. Alexander. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nora H. Johnson of Norfork, to whom he was married on Dec 16, 1928
Also surviving are a son, Marlin Johnson of Mt. Home; a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Byrd of Norfork; a sister, Mrs. Mable Watkins of Norfork; and three grandchildren, Rev. Keith Byrd, Kathy Byrd Schaufler and Sondra Johnson, all of this area.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Norfork with Rev. Paul Hill and Rev Paul Huskey officiating. Interment was in the Galatia Cemetery, near Norfork, with the Roller Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Serving as pallbearers were Sid Pickens, Eudel Southard, Edward Neel, Max Rose, Theo Funkhouser and Jerry Parnell.
