Mildred Mae Baker, 83, of Norfork died Wednesday, March 17, 2004, at Good Samaritan Village.
Mrs. Baker was born Nov 2, 1920, in Hopewell to Frank and Polly Coyle Beard. She was a homemaker and a member of Norfork First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Patsy (Mike) Pool of Norfork and Sharon Trippett of Elizaberth, WV; two sons, Carl (Kathleen) Baker of Old Joe, and Harlin (Vada) Baker, Jr. of Alvin, Texas two sisters, Ruby (Loren) Hall of Stockton, MO and Hazel Torrance of Norfork; two brothers, Kenneth (Rose Marie) Beard of Shawnee, KS, and T.F. (Mae) Beard of Lenexa, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harland Baker; one brother; one sister; and two granddaughters, Jennifer Baker and Valecia Silver.
Visitation will be from noon-9PM today at Roller Funeral Home with the family greeting friends from 6-8PM.
A funeral will be 2PM Saturday at Norfork First Baptist Chruch with the Rev. Dough Husky and the Rev. Ray Lamb officiating. Burial will follow at Gatlatia Cemetery. Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
