Son of Robert Owen Jenkins & Barbara Alice Hooper Jenkins.
Married Mary Ellen Dickerson, February 15, 1943, Kansas City, Wynadotte County, Kansas.

William 'Bill' Jenkins, 76, of Jordan died Wednesday (Jan 5, 1994) at his residence.
Services will be 2PM Friday at the Old Galatia Church with the Rev. Troy Melton officiating. Visitation is from 9AM to 9PM today at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8PM.
Burial will be at Galatia Cemetery.
Mr. Jenkins was a Jordan resident since 1978, formerly of Kansas City, MO where he was born on March 17, 1917. He was a retired cement mason who worked for 1948 to 1978 for Roherer Construction Co. at Kansas City, KS. He married Mary E. Dickerson on Feb 15, 1943, at Kansas City, KS.
He was preceded in death by both parents, Robert Owen and Barbara Alice Hooper Jenkins, two brothers, a half brother and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Mary of the home; a son, George H. Nelson of Jordan, one half brother, John Hall of Versailles, MO; one sister Alta Callahan of Bullhead City, AZ; one granchild; several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.
