Married Pardine Bratcher, June 6, 1925, Cotton Plant, Woodruff County, Arkansas.

James Marion Jenkins, 75, of Old Joe, died Monday at Good Samaritan Village. A resident of Old Joe since 1969, he was formerly of Chicago. He was a retired factory worker and policeman. He was a member of the Galatia Assmebly of God Church.
Born July 16, 1907 at Mississippi, he was the son of the late Amy Ruff Jenkins and Monroe Jenkins. He was also preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.
Mr. Jenkins and the former Pardine Bratcher were married June 6, 1925 at Cotton Plant. Mrs. Jenkins resides at Mt. Home.
Other survivors include three brothers, Ben Willie Jenkins of Marianna, Aubrey Jenkins of Greenville, IL and Sam Carden of South Carolina; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Thursday at the Galatia Assembly of God Chruch with Rev. Jack Langston officiating. Interment took place at the Galatia Cemetry in Norfork.
Pallbearers were Roe Whitfield, Frank Baker, Dan Davis, Gene Adams, Donnie Robinson and Charles Kysilka.
Honorary pallbearers were William E. Malone, John Kilpatrick and Howard Woods.
Arrangements were handled by Kirby and Family Funeral Directors of Mt. Home.
