The Wiles Cemetery is located in Ash Flat, Sharp County, Arkansas. Just north of the Sharp County Courthouse is highway 62 going west. The cemetery is on the north side of the road about 1/2 mile from highway 167.
Dr William Amos Wiles owned the property that the cemetery is on. The story is that a sick soldier came to the area and was taken into the doctor's home. He eventually died and was buried on Dr Wiles's property which began the cemetery.
Information given by his great great great granddaughter.
