Rogers - Mrs. Bessie Marie Singer Singer, 76, of Rogers died Monday in a Bentonville nursing home. Born Oct. 29, 1897 at Greenville, Ohio, she was a member of Mt. Hebron Methodist Church.
Survivors are her husband, Charles (Pop) Singer of the home; three sons, H. O. Mansfield and Richard A. Mansfield both of Kansas City, Mo., and Lewis Mansfield Jr. of Kansas City, Kan.; two daughters, Mrs. Marcella Jenkins of Topeka, Kan., and Mrs. Jean Seymour of Aurora, Ill.; a step-son, Alvin Singer of Kansas City, Mo.; two brothers, John R. Clark of Greenville, Ohio and James Clark of Johnston, Ky.; two sisters, Mrs. Lucille Distenette and Mrs. Helen Tuttle both of Haynes City, Fla.; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Callison Funeral Chapel of Rogers with burial in Mt. Hebron Cemetery.
