COLVILLE, S.R. - S.R. Colville, aged 72 and a son of the man in whose honor Colville Township, a few miles southeast of Bentonville, was named, died at his home in the Hebron community, that township, about midnight Friday following an illness of two months. Mr. Colville had lived all his life on the farm on which he was born. Besides his widow he is survived by two sons, Sam and Wilbur, of Lowell, Ark.; a sister, Mrs. Mary Blair, who lived at the Colville home, and a brother, John Colville of Fort Worth, Texas. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Hebron church conducted by the Rev. L. Gadenthal of the Gentry Methodist Church.

S.R. Colville, member of a pioneer Benton County family, died at his home near the old town of Colville early Saturday morning at the age of 72 years. Funeral services and burial were held at Hebron Sunday afternoon. Mr. Colville was born on the Colville homestead in 1861. His entire life had been spent on this farm. Besides his widow he is survived by three sons, Sam and Wilburn Colville of Lowell and Homer Colville of Monett; a brother, John Colville, of Fort Worth, Texas and by a sister, Mrs. Mary Blain of Lowell.

{from Hebron} Mr. and Mrs. Homer Colville returned to their home at Monett, Missouri after a week spent with his mother and family. Homer's father was buried at Hebron Sunday, January 16. There was just a weeks difference between Mr. Colville's funeral and that of Miss Rachel Colville's. They were own cousins.
