McELHANEY, Mrs. Jas. (HARDIN) - Mrs. Jas. McElhaney died Saturday morning at nine o'clock at her home one mile southeast of Monte Ne. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock at Sigman school house and were conducted by Rev. Danford. Interment was made in the Sigman cemetery The deceased was an adopted daughter of J.R. Hardin, Sr. and her death was caused by consumption. She was twenty-seven years old and leaves one child, a boy three years old. Mrs. McElhaney united with the Christian church in 1890. The bereaved husband and relatives have the sympathy of a large circle of friends and acquaintances.
