Son of Joseph Ceaphus Wallis & Phoeba Satterfield Passmore Wallis.
Married Katherine Addie Clark, May 16, 1936, McPhearson, Baxter County, Arkansas.

Visitation for Willaim Henry 'Buck' Wallis, 81, of Mt. Home will be from 4-8PM today at Kirby Funeral Home. Mr. Wallis died Thrusday (March 10, 1988) at Baxter County Regional Hospital.
Services will be at 2PM Sunday at the Old Galatia Church in Old Joe with the Rev. Kenny Jarman officiating. Pallbearers will be David Rosson, Elmer Rosson. L.J. Rosson, Billy Sutterfield, Johnny Sutterfield, and Cecil Sutterfield. J.D. Cantrell, Roy Woods, Steve Rosson, Leonard Cox, Freddy Wohel and Don Alman will be honorary pallbeareres. Burial will be in Galatia Cemetery.
Mr. Wallis was born Jan 28, 1907, at Timbo, the son of Phobe Passmore Wallis and Seph Wallis. He married Katerine Addie Clark May 16, 1936, at McFearason. Mr. Wallis was a retired farmer.
He is survived by his wife of Mt. Home; two sons, J.C. Wallis of Alberta, GA and Tommy Clark of Claremore, OK; five daughtes, Joyce Gray of DeSoto, KS, Zelta Harrington of Lone Rock, Peggie Jones, Anna Mae Cantrell and Johnnie Lavon Audeoud, all fo Mt. Home; four sister, Jewell Flippin of Gassville, Opal Wohel of Springfield, MO, Dovia Standerfer of Kingsberry, IN and Jane Sutterfield of Truman; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Wallis was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and four sisters.
Mr. Wallis was a Portestant.
Memorials may be made to the Wallis family.
Arrangements are under the directon of Kirby and Family Funeral directors.
