Daughter of William & Elizabeth Freeman Alexander.

Mrs. America Elizabeth Johnson, 82, a longtime resident of Norfork died Jan 5, in a Calico Rock hospital.
Funeral services were held Jan 8, at Galatia Methodist Church, east of Norfork, with Bro. Shofner of Calico Rock and Bro. John Evans of Norfork officiating. Interment was in the Galatia Cemetery, under the direction of the McClure Service.
Mrs. Johnson, a native of Douglas County, MO, was born at Richville on May 16, 1881. Her parens were Bill Alexander and Elizabeth Freeman Alexander. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include three sons, Everett, of Norfork, Elmer of East Penbroke, NY and Earl of Batavia, NY; a daughter Mrs. Mabel Wadkins of Norfork; 10 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a brother, George B. Alexander of Norfork and two sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Gregg and Mrs. Doar Acklin, both of Mt. Home.
