Mrs. Lizzie Shipley Climer, 75, of Wynne, died Tuesday evening at Cross County Hospital in Wynne following a lengthy illness. She was a native of Mt. Home and had been a resident of Wynne for the past 20 years. Mrs. Climer was a homemaker and was a member of the Wynne United Pentecostal Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Henderson Climer in 1963.
Survivors include two sons, Earnest Climer and Melvin Climer both of Wynne; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Smith of Pulaski, TN, and Mrs. Evelyn Robertson of Wynne; three brothers, Woodford Shipley and Henry Shipley, both of Mt. Home and Orvill Shipley of Elgin Mo.; one sister Ellar Shipley of Mt. Home; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be this morning at 10AM at the Wynne United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Ralph Leonard officiating. Graveside services will be at 4 in the afternoon at Galatia Cemetery in Mt. Home. Burial will follow under the direction of the Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home of Wynne.
