Obituary
James William Cook, 79, died at his home here Friday afternoon at 4:25 o'clock following a long illness. He moved to Arkansas from Tennessee 50 years ago and had lived in the city for many years.
Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at two o'clock at Cogbill cemetery by the Rev. Roy Davis, pastor of the Presbyterian church. Burial was in charge of the Kernodle Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife , Mrs. Sarah Cook; a sister Mrs. Margaret Taylor of Wynne; and a brother Willis Cook of Memphis.
Active pall bearers were : C.E. Martin, James Artman, Nath Faulkner, Marvin Ellis, Walter Stacy, and Giles Dearing.
Honorary pall bearers were : T.R. Nash, Tom Holt, Bill Heath, August Trielke,H. Steinberg, Ed Brewster, and E.G. Legg.
