Missouri Angeline Pallett was born in Lawrence County, Mo. April 26, 1839. Was married to Richard Heagerty July 9th, 1858. They came to Arkansas soon after the Civil War and settled on a farm near Osage Mills in Benton County, which has since been the family home. To them were born five children, J.W., Mary, Columbus, D.S. and James, all of whom are living to mourn the loss of mother except Columbus who died in infancy. Her husband passed away many years ago and she has lived with her youngest son, James, at her old home, growing old in years but cheerful and happy in disposition, a devoted and loving mother as well as a kind neighbor and friend. She was converted and joined the Methodist Church in 1872 and for nearly half a century has lived to show forth a Savior's life. For more than a year she has lingered in the shadows as the infirmities of age caused her mental powers to decline, but she was mercifully spared great suffering and on the morning of July 6th, 1921 she peacefully passed away, surrounded by her devoted children who so tenderly cared for her thru her declining years.

Married July 9 1858
