Margie Marietta Casper Harris
Margie Marietta Casper Harris, 74, of Strawberry, died April 4, 2005, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
Born Oct. 10, 1930, at Eaton, she worked at Con Agra for 13 years, was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Joseph and Sarah Mahala Ketner Casper; six brothers, Roy Casper, Thurman Casper, L.D. Casper, Cecil Casper, Truman Casper and Albert Casper; three sisters, Louise Casper, Ethel Berry and Neave Berry; and a granddaughter, Kesha Harris.
Survivors include her husband, James D. Harris; two sons, Carrol David Harris, Cave City, and Harold Dean Harris, Strawberry; two daughters, Jeanette Turner, Cave City, and Marietta Ann Harris, Poughkeepsie; a brother, Fred Casper, Walnut Ridge; three sisters, Cora Campbell, Walnut Ridge, Clara Wells, Eaton, and Nadine Goodwin, Lynn; 10 grandchildren, James Turner, Travis Turner, Amber Harris, Kylie Harris, Lexi Harris, Michael Harris, Morgan Harris, Eric Huskey, Katie Davis and Kelsi Garrett; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral is Thursday at 10 a.m. at Mount View Missionary Baptist Church, near Cave City, with Bros. Ron Shipley and George Wright officiating. Burial will be in Ward Cemetery at Strawberry under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers will be James Turner, Travis Turner, Eric Huskey, Stevie Wells, Larry Wells and Eric Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Harris, Dexter Hardin, Wesley Foushee, Maynard Richey, Marvin Kirby and Dennis Hardin.
Visitation is tonight from 6 to 8.
