Alfred Wilson Bright died at his home July 17, 1896. He was born in Benton county, Ark. May 9, 1854. He was married to Kate Maberry Sept. of '76 and to them were born 10 childrem all living. The deceased was a son of Adolphus Bright, a pioneer of this state. Alfred was raised to manhood on his father's homestead five miles southwest of Bentonville. Soon after marriage he and his wife joined the Baptist church at Temperance Hill and he was a faithful member until death, which was caused by kidney disease. He had been afflicted over a year. The funeral services were conducted by Elder Hogan at Temperance Hill church July 18th after which the remains were laid to rest in the Barron cemetery. A Friend.
