BELLA VISTA — Jayne Kiefer Bright, 88, of Bella Vista died Sept. 12, 2007, at her home. She was born Sept. 24, 1918, in Pittsburgh, to Harvey and Mary Affolter Kiefer. She and her husband moved to Bella Vista in 1982 from Austin, Texas. She attended Ohio University in Athens and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bella Vista and was a volunteer at Bates Hospital for a few years. She was preceded in death by one son, William Bright and one grandson, Jay Weirich.
Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Donald of Bella Vista; two children, Barbara Weirich and husband Ronald of Benton Harbor, Mich., and Beverly Smith and husband Daniel of Norwood, Colo.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Concordia Care Retirement All-Purpose Room in Bella Vista with Jack Brown officiating.
