A graveside service for Paul E. "Gene" Gray of DeSoto, Kansas, will be at 4PM Wednesday at Galatia Cemetery. Mr. Gray died Sunday (June 18, 2000) at Olathe, KS. he was 73.
Mr. Gray was born June 1, 1937, at Norfork to Joseph and Bertha Loosey Gray. He married Joyce Wallis. He retired from Lonestar Industries after 36 years.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Gray; one son William and wife, Debbie, of Desoto, KS; two grandchildren, Ranald Gray of Lenexa, KS, and Brian and wife, Tonja, of Osawkie, KS; one great grandchild, Brittany Gray' three sisters, Deller Sanders and Eva Lovette, both of Pineville and Elwanda Lucy of Calico Rock.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three broters, Robert Dean Gray, J.D. Gray and Ewell Loosey; and two sister, Evelyn Rotell and Lorine Grigg.
Visitation will be from 6-8PM today at Cedar Crest Memoorial Chapel in DeSoto.
Arrangements are by Kirby-Boaz Funeral Directors.
