Husband of Norma Elizabeth (Pitcock)they married 15 Aug 1949. Son of Joseph and Bessie (Dougherty) Grisham. Norma the daughter of Charley and Leila (Beard) Pitcock.
Norma Elizabeth Pitcock Grisham, 86, of Batesville, formerly of Hoxie, passed away Monday, September 22, 2014 at the White River Medical Center.
Born July 12, 1928 at Lillie Ridge, Missouri, daughter of Charley and Leila Beard Pitcock. She was a homemaker, faithful Christian and member of the Church of Christ.
She was united in marriage to Orvis Lee Grisham August 15, 1949 who preceded her in death April 7, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Charley and Leila Beard Pitcock, a brother, Everett Pitcock and sisters, Gertrude Pitcock Gregory and Bonnie Pitcock Burnley and two infant sisters.
Survivors include two daughters, Francie Grisham Workman and husband, Bill of Jonesboro and Karen Grisham Massey and husband Douglas of Batesville; a son, Charles Grisham and wife Nancy of Bradford; a sister, Purna Mae Pitcock Roberts of West Plains, Missouri; grandchildren, Clayton (Emily) Workman, Amy Workman (Matt) Cooper, Stayton Massey, Richard (Amanda) Massey, Joe (Miranda) Massey; fourteen great grandchildren, several step grandchildren, step great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and many other relatives and friends.
