Walter the son of Ephraim Isaac Norman and Nettie Ann (Doyle) Norman. Imogene the daughter of Walter Azor Williams and Alice Melinda (Runyan) Williams.

Imogene Williams Norman, 82, of Strawberry, died Jan. 23, 2008, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.

Born Feb. 10, 1925, at Strawberry, she was the daughter of Walter Azar "W.A." and Alice Melinda Runyan Williams. She was a homemaker and worked at ConAgra Foods in Batesville. She was a member of Ramsey Heights Baptist Church at Desha.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Norman; a son, William Kenneth Norman; and a brother, Buren Kenneth Williams.

Survivors include two sons, Aris Ray Norman, Strawberry, and Danny Joe Norman, Batesville; a daughter, Donna Pledger, Batesville; a sister, Sue Ford, Cave City; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Funeral was Friday at 10 a.m. in the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel at Cave City with Bro. Robert Randolph officiating. Burial was in Ward Cemetery at Strawberry.

Pallbearers were Michael Norman, Justin Saffell, Bob Norman, Darrell Ford, Chris Toland and Deriek Bangs. Honorary pallbearer was Kevin Larsen.
