Bonnie Jean Clements Huskey, 68, of Cave City, Ark., died Nov. 18, 2005, at the White River Medical Center in Batesville. She was born Jan. 15, 1937, at Ravenden to Hanley and Thelma Clements. She retired after 18 years as a school bus driver and custodian from the Strawberry School District, was a teacher's aide, a volunteer Foster grandparent and was a Christian.
Survivors include her mother, Thelma Clements of Batesville; one son, Tim Huskey of Cave City; two daughters, Karen Morgan of Batesville and Nancy Huskey of Cave City; two brothers, R. Bob Clements of Ocala, Fla., and Chuck Clements of Pocahontas; one sister, Debbie Foster of Pocahontas; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Hanley Clements; her husband of 49 years, Donnie Huskey; a sister, Mary Lou Jones; and one grandson, Grant Gilbert.
The funeral service was held Nov. 20 at the Hillcrest Gymnasium on Strawberry Campus with Bro Jerry Clements officiating. Burial followed in the Ward Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
Pallbearers were Greg Crabtree, Allen McDonald, James "Shorty" Rose, Shawn Rose, Donald Wilkerson and Chester Shannon.
Honorary pallbearers were her grandchildren. Cherokee Village Villager Journal paper. Provided by Jeannie Clements - relative.
