MAHAFFEY, W.C. - {from The St. Paul Mountain Air} W.C. Mahaffey, an old and respected citizen of this township, died Sunday night at the home of his son, Jesse Mahaffey, of general decline in his 84th year. Mr. Mahaffey came here from Kentucky about 25 years ago and located and improved a farm west of town. He was the only remaining Mexican veteran in this vicinity and was drawing a pension of $20 per month. He leaves a number of children to mourn his death.
