Died August 31, 1994, Calico Rock, Izard County, Arkansas.
Daughter of John C. & Matilda DeWitt Lawson.

Irena M. Smith, 78, of Norfork died Wednesday (Aug 31, 1994) at White River Medical center.
Services will be at 10AM Saturday at Galatia Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Rex Middleton officiating. Visitation will be from 12 to 9PM today at Roller Funeral Home. Burial will be at Galatia Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Steven Franssen, Jimmy Smith, Jeremy Smith, Johathan Smith, Jamie Wilbur and Matt Wilbur. Honorary pallbearers will also be her grandsons, Terry Lawson, Tommy Smith, John Drohman, Mark Killian, Aaron Killian and B.J. Biggerstaff.
Mrs. Smith was born Nov 22, 1915, at Hopewell, AR to John C. and Matilda DeWitt Lawson. She was a member of the Galatia Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her parnets, first husband, Cecil Graham; second husband, Lewis Smith; two brothers; one sister and one grandson.
Survivors include four sons, Ernie Lynn Lawson of Oklahoma, Jimmie Smith of Nebraska, Victor Smith of Kansas and Paul Smith of Illinois; seven daughters, Norma Drohman and Lee Franssen both of Nebraska, Florence Killian of Calico Rock, Linda Kicklighter of Flordia, Phyllis Wilbur of Norfork, Barbara Beard of Kansas City, MO and Nichola Pierce of California; one brother, Alfred Lawson of Arkana; a sister, Clercy Griffith of Oklahoma; 24 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
