A graveside service for 78-year-old Hazel Mae Payne of Norfork will be at 1PM Friday at Galatia Cemetery. Mrs. Payne died Wednesday (August 30, 2000).
She was born Feb 1, 1922, at Shipps Ferry to John and Betty Barton Tilley. She was a lifetime resident of Norfork. She married Austin Payne in June, 1966, in Yelville and was a homemaker. She was of the Pentacostal faith.
Mrs. Payne is survived by her husband, Austin Payne of Norfork; a daughter, Shirley Adams and husband, Gary, of St. Joe; two brothers, Frank Tilley of Gassville and Jim Tilley of Charlotte, NC; a grandson, Michael Kendrick of Pleasanton, KS; a granddaughter, Sandi Kendrick of St. Joe; a great grandson, Will Basore of St. Joe; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and five sisters.
Visitation will be from 5-8PM today at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home.
Arrangements are by Kirby-Boaz Funeral Directors.
