WYATT, Elizabeth PARKER - Mrs. Elizabeth Parker Wyatt died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Corinna Burns, on Monday evening, January 23rd, 1928. Mrs. Wyatt was the daughter of the Rev. John C. and Jennie Virginia Simpson Parker. She was born at Parkersburg, Yell County, Ark. on July 20th, 1850. After the death of her parents she lived with her sister, Mrs. Martha F. Scott, near Magazine, Ark. until her marriage to Dr. T.M. Wyatt of Dardanelle, Ark. in 1872. From Dardanelle she moved with her husband to Russellville, Ark. From Russellville she came to Bentonville, Ark. with her husband in 1891. Mrs. Wyatt joined the Methodist Church in early childhood and was an active Christian throughout her life. She was a charter member of the Woman's Missionary Society of the Bentonville Methodist church and the active president for nine years. Mrs. Wyatt was a member of the Eastern Star Lodge since her marriage and the chaplain of the Bentonville Chapter for a long period of years. She was also one of the charter members of the James H. Berry Chapter, Daughters of the Confederacy.
