CASH, Elizabeth FORD - Elizabeth Ford was born at Bentonville, Arkansas January 18, 1842 and died at her home near Mt. Pleasant Church November 25, 1920 following a five weeks of illness. The greater part of her life time she spent as a faithful Christian, believing that to help those around her was one of the greatest ways to express true Christian character. She was married to H. Cash of Pea Ridge in 1860 and in a short time settled on the old farm which has been her home until she was called away to that "Home of all Homes." To the union were born six children, two boys and four girls. The father and three daughters, Mrs. L. Todd, Mrs. Bud Holt and Mrs. A. Williams, and an unmarried son, Elmer Cash, had already gone ahead to the great beyond. Two children survive, Mrs. John B. Edwards of Gravette and Joseph, who resided with his mother, also a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren are left to mourn the loss. We feel that her life was not lived in vain.
