EARLY RESIDENT OF MAYSVILLE PASSES AWAY
Thomas P. Netherton, age 77 years died at his home in Maysville, Dec. 30, 1933, following an illness of sometime.
Mr. Netherton was born in Missouri, Aug. 15, 1856, and was the youngest of 17 children, only one of whom survives, Mrs. Sophonia Blevens, who made her home with him.
His parents moved to near Maysville when he was eight years old. In 1881 he married Attie Rogers to whom were born five children, Mrs. Alfred Austin of Gravette, T.B. Netherton, Mack Netherton, Clevia Netherton and Beatrice Netherton, all of whom survived him, excepting Beatrice, who died in 1914. HE is also survived by 14 grand children as well as a large host of friends.
