Rogers - Perry John Moore, 84, of the New Hope Community, died Wednesday at his home. Born Dec. 10, 1886 in Marienville, Pa., he was a retired farmer and a Seventh Day Adventist.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Mae Moore of the home: two sons, Lawrence of Franklin, Pa.; and Ralph of Tucson, Ark.; eight daughters, Mrs. Florence Hoffman of Oil City, Pa., Mrs. Mary Albaugh of Tionesla, Pa., Mrs. Erta McCleery of Shipponville, Pa., Mrs. Elva Orseno of Franklin, Pa., Mrs. Alice Marie Smith and Mrs. Mildred Crawford, of Tucson, Mrs. Janet Karnes of Coopertown, Pa. and Mrs. Betty Lou Patterson of Kinnerville, Pa.; two step-sons, Preston Paxton of New Hope and Donald Carlson of Torrence, Calif.; two step-daughters; Mrs. Joann Long of Torrence and Mrs. Maxine Brooks of Santee, Calif.; six brothers, Vessie of Tucson, William of Titusville, Pa., Abner of Grand Valley, Pa., Grover of East Hickory, Pa., Allen of Oil City and Francis of Tionesta; 57 grandchildren; 82 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Rogers Seventh Day Adventist Church with burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery under direction of Burns Funeral Home.

Rogers — Mrs. Mae L. Moore, 85, of Route 2, Rogers, died Sunday in the Rogers hospital. Born Dec. 31, 1886 at Montague, Tex., she was a Seventh Day Adventist.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Joan Long of Torrance, Calif. and Mrs. Maxine Brooks of Santee, Calif.; one son, P.R. Paxton of Rogers; two brothers, A.P. Taylor of Marland, Okla. and D.W. Taylor of Kansas City; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Burns Chapel with burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
