{from Hiwasse} J.F. Holloway died at his home east of Hiwasse Saturday night Aug. 26. He had been ill one week with typhoid fever and complications. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Wm. Edwards, were held at the Mt. Pleasant church. The remains were laid to rest in the Mt. Pleasant cemetery. He is survived by an aged father and mother, four sisters, a wife and twelve children. This entire community has suffered a loss in the passing away of Mr. Holloway and sympathizes with his bereaved family.
