December 16, 1931 - February 21, 2023
Berneice Hoffman, 91 of Walnut Ridge, died Monday February 21, 2023 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
She was born December 16, 1931 in Ponder's Switch, Arkansas to Willie & Claudia Brewer. She was a homemaker and loved her family very much. She seemed to always have a smile on her face. She will be missed by those who knew her. She was of Pentecostal belief.
Berneice was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Claudia; first husband, Nathan Rice; second husband, Robert Hoffman; daughter, Kimberly Denise Rice; sisters, Imogene Blanchard, Pearline Shewmaker, & Fern Urban; and brothers, Gent, Eugene, Willie, Willis, J. R., Hershal, and Roy Lee Brewer.
She is survived by her sister, Bonda Duckworth of Walnut Ridge; step daughters, Connie (Dale) Hart and Kathy (Gene) Hall; and several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends.
Visitation will be held Monday February 27, 2023 at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge from 1:00PM-2:45PM.
A graveside service will follow at 3:00PM at Lawrence Memorial Park Cemetery in Walnut Ridge with Ed Gregory officiating.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are John Duckworth, Greg Duckworth, Mike Duckworth, Teddy Duckworth, Jeff Duckworth, and John Durham.
