PERRY, Abigail SCHENCK - Mrs. Abigail Perry, widow of J.M. Perry, died late Thursday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ed Lawson, of Bentonville. She was 76 years of age and had been ill for some time. Her death occurred just two weeks after that of her husband who passed away on February 11th. Funeral services were held at the home of Mrs. C.L. Fields Saturday morning, the Rev. R.S. Hayden conducting the same. Burial was made beside her husband in the Centerton cemetery. Mrs. Abigail Schenck Perry was born in Janesville, Wisc. in 1856. On Nov. 19, 1871 she was married to James Perry. In 1889 they moved to Benton county and located on a farm four miles north of Centerton where they lived until Mr. Perry became too old to farm. Mrs. Perry is survived by four daughters, Mrs. C.L. Fields, Mrs. Ed Mason, Mrs. Ed Lawson of Bentonville and Mrs. Ella Foust of Humboldt, Kans. and by two sons, W.T. Perry of Ojai, Calif. and C.C. Perry of Falls City, Nebr.

Funeral services for Mrs. Abigail S. Perry, 76, widow of the late J.M. Perry, were held Saturday morning from the home of her daughter, Mrs. C.L. Fields in Bentonville and burial was in the Centerton cemetery Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Perry died at the home of another daughter, Mrs. Ed Lawson in Bentonville Thursday, just one week and a day after the death of her husband. She is survived by two sons, W.T. Perry, Ojai, Calif. and C.C. Perry of Falls City, Neb., and four daughters, Mrs. Ella Fount of Humboldt, Kan., Mrs. Ed Mason, Mrs. Lawson and Mrs. C.L. Fields, Bentonville. Mrs. Perry was the grandmother of Sheriff Edgar Fields and Miss Winnie Fields and Mrs. O.E. McKinney of Rogers.
