Evelyn Garrett Sims, 81, of Camden Rt. 4, died Tuesday in a local nursing home. Funeral services were at 2p.m. Thursday at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Lakeside Cemetery near East Camden. She was the widow of the late Henry Sims and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Loretta Dumbeck of West Covina, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Thelma Beckwith of Oakland, Calif.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
