Ila - September 7, 1899 - December 22, 1973
Mrs. Ila Estelle Mitchell, aged 74 of Camden died Saturday. She was a member of Maul Road Church of Christ. Survivors include a son, Herbert Mitchell of Pine Bluff; two daughters, Mrs. Walter Martin of Locust Bayou and Mrs. Gene Solomon of California; three brothers, R. A. and Doyle F. Riggs, both of Texas, and G. O. Riggs of Locust Bayou; three sisters, Mrs. R. A. Roark of New Mexico and Mrs. Lillie Collie and Mrs. Mitt Nalls both of Locust Bayou, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral will be at Proctor Funeral Chapel and burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery. (Arkansas Gazette - December 23, 1973)
