Ellen Duncan
Ellen Elizabeth Duncan, 88, of Gravette, died Thursday, Jan. 8, in Gravette. She was born October 14, 1898, in Centerton to James Thomas and Nancy Seamster Jameson.
She was a member of the JGT Club, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Senior Citizens Center, the UMW and a member of the United Methodist Church in Gravette.
She is survived by six sons, Ivan Duncan, Wilborn Duncan and Leon Duncan, all of Decatur; J.D. Duncan of Blackwell, OK; Bob Duncan of Neosho, MO; and Kenneth Duncan of Gravette; one daughter, Angie Ladd, of Brevard, N.C.; one brother, Hershel Jameson, of Riverside, CA; two sisters, Marrie Harkrider of San Diego, CA and Annable Cedarburg of Bentonville; 32 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday, Jan. 10, at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Gravette with Rev. Paul Dubar officiating. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery under the direction of Pyeatte Funeral Service of Siloam Springs.
